The first in a trilogy, Saddies is the original incarnation of what it really feels like to be a cartoon. The limited edition artist book portrays an eclectic assortment of characters caught in various moments of confusion, awkwardness, and oblivion.  Subtitled "You Never Know Who Might Give You a Black Eye," Saddies moves through three sections that illustrate the universe's unpredictability. Inspired by the work of James Thurber, the books capture a world forever out of sync with the normal, the rational, and the so-called well adjusted.
